The ball valve with an integrated cleaning pig and cartridge allows for the quick and easy initiation of pipeline cleaning systems using pigging tools. The advantage of pig ball valves is that, unlike conventional pig launchers and receivers, they can operate in confined spaces on small-diameter pipelines. For launching and receiving the pig, the valve body incorporates a specialized trap equipped with a closure element.

This design allows for the flushing of any contaminants into the trap and ensures maximum reliability in operation.
